In a nutshell...
Babies. All of them. Our work is driven by our tiniest community members and we want each and every one of them to have the healthiest start possible.
In an average week in Iowa, 90 babies are born too soon and too small. And that my friends, is too many. Too many babies are spending their first months in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICUs), too many babies cope with lifelong disabilities due to their early arrival and too many babies don't survive.
We work towards the day when all babies are born healthy.
