ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION
March of Dimes is the leading non-profit for pregnancy and baby health. In partnership with leading physicians and researchers, we provide educational resources for moms and moms-to-be. From preconception, to pregnancy, to newborn care, March of Dimes is here to ensure a healthy pregnancy for mom and a healthy start for baby.
And if something goes wrong, we offer information and comfort to families.
Our mission is to improve the health of all babies by preventing premature birth, birth defects and infant mortality. We carry out our mission through programs of research, community services, education and advocacy.
ABOUT THE CENTRAL IOWA DIVISION
To help raise critical funds for the organization's mission, the Central Iowa Division staff, along with dozens of amazing and dedicated volunteers, organize four annual fundraising events. Those events are:
- Des Moines March for Babies
- Fort Dodge March for Babies
- Signature Chefs Auction
- High Heels for High Hopes
